About the Artist
I am a visual artist living and creating in the lush tropics of northern Australia, where the vibrant ecosystems and dramatic landscapes offer an endless source of inspiration. My work celebrates the intricate relationships between plants, animals, and their natural environments—inviting the viewer into a world of tropical biodiversity.
Drawing from my deep personal connection to nature, I create large-scale, abstract realist works that magnify natural forms and immerse the viewer in colour, texture, and detail. Every piece is an exploration of organic beauty and ecological fragility.
Artist styles and mediums - How I work.
With a focus on the dynamics of colour and intricate form, I explore the beauty and fragility of tropical life. Primarily an oil painter, I also work with acrylics, watercolour, graphite, ink, pastel, collage, lino print, fabric, stained glass, and ceramics—each medium offering a new way to express the textures and rhythms found in nature.
I am fascinated by the creative spirit—particularly those who fluidly express themselves across art forms: painting, music, movement, performance. It is this essence of the True Creative that inspires my ongoing exploration of art as a multisensory experience.
