‍ ‍Under the Sea: A Luminous Journey

Under the Sea explores the colour, movement, and presence of marine life beneath the ocean surface. Working on black canvas, I built layers of luminous colour to capture the way light emerges in underwater environments. Each painting focuses on a different subject, from octopus and clownfish to coral formations and sea turtles, observing both detail and atmosphere. The series moves between realism and imagination, including references to myth through the mermaid and traces of human history in the shipwreck. Together, the works present an immersive view of the underwater world, highlighting both its visual richness and quiet intensity.
